In-Ground Pool Opening

Pool Openings are often scheduled to be done as early as March. When deciding a date to open your pool, we suggest you allow ample time to clean, clear, and address any possible issues before you wish to begin swimming.

What's Included?

Our base opening includes the following...
  • Remove debris from cover
  • Remove cover from pool
  • Remove plugs, plates, gizzmos, and any other winterization parts
  • Fold and put away pool cover
  • Neatly put away other winterization parts
  • Hook up and test filter system
  • Check and lubricate all gaskets and o-rings
  • Identify and discuss any concerns or recommendations
  • Safely secure ladders and handrails
Recommended Options

Filter Cleaning

Filters will get backed up with many things such as organics, suntan lotions, oils, and chemical residue. To extend your equipment’s life, MCM Pools recommends that you chemically clean the filter at least twice each season. Don’t start the season on a bad foot by using a clogged-up filter. Request your filter cleaning today!

Choose:

  • Acid Quick-Cleaning – Same day treatment for your filter cleaning, providing a deeper cleanse for your filter.
  • Premium Acid Cleaning (2-3 day process) – We take your filter back to the shop and place your filter into an acid bath for a 24 hours period. This allows for an industrial cleanse, and provides your filter with the deepest possible cleaning. After a rinse, the filter is returned to you at no additional cost!

Salt Cell Cleaning

The Key piece of equipment for a salt water pool is the salt cell generator.

If you have a salt water pool, you know how expensive a generator is and how important it is to maintain. These generators require inspection every 3 months. To extend the life of the generator it is standard procedure to soak it in a special acidic solution to remove any built-up deposits from chlorine generation.

Kickstart Cleaning

Our Kickstart Cleaning service is a one-time cleaning designed to help those who maintain your pool. Our technicians will take the appropriate first steps to get your pool cleaning started.

At the discretion of the technician on site, services provided may include: 

  • Shock and algaecide included (no balancing chemicals
  • vacuuming
  • vacuuming to waste
  • scooping debris
  • skimming the surface
  • brushing walls/sides/stairs

Note: Because each pool is unique and conditions upon opening vary, services provided will be determined at the time of opening.
