Bio
Dirk Labuschagne is a Mechanical Engineering graduate with a diverse career spanning the polymer manufacturing and information management systems industry. Before joining Direct Transact, Dirk managed the systems integration team at Powertech IST. At Direct Transact, Dirk initially focused on business development in Africa. He later took over the HR, Infrastructure, and Cyber Security portfolios.
Under Dirk’s leadership, several infrastructure improvement projects were executed, including Disaster Recovery, Data Centre relocation, cluster host and network resilience improvement, operations and applications monitoring, and work management systems.
Dirk established the Direct Transact Cyber Security team and implemented a robust Cyber Security solution that successfully passed PCI DSS assessments for 7 consecutive years.
